Continuous ("we," "us," "our") is a digital wellness application. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've written this in plain English because we believe you shouldn't need a law degree to understand how your data is handled.
The short version: we collect as little data as possible, we never sell it, and we give you full control over it.
What We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we generate an anonymous user ID. We don't require your name, email address, or any personal information to get started. If you choose to add an email (for account recovery or support), we store it securely.
Your content
We store user-generated content and preferences you create within the app. This content is associated with your anonymous account and is used solely to provide the service.
App preferences
We store your settings and preferences so the app works the way you want it to.
Anonymized analytics
We use PostHog for anonymized, privacy-focused analytics. This helps us understand how people use the app in aggregate — for example, which features are most popular or where people get stuck. We do not track individual behavior or build user profiles.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
- We do not use your content to train AI models or for purposes beyond providing the service to you.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any data from other apps on your device.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate Continuous:
- Supabase — Backend infrastructure, database, and authentication. Your data is stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security enabled.
- RevenueCat — Subscription management. RevenueCat processes subscription transactions through the App Store and Google Play. We do not directly handle or store your payment information.
- PostHog — Anonymized product analytics. We use PostHog to understand aggregate usage patterns. Individual user tracking is disabled.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all associated data — your content, preferences, and any stored account information. This deletion is irreversible.
You can delete your account at any time through the app's settings or by emailing us at hello@continuous.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Continuous is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email (if you've provided one). The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
